Description

Director of Business Management for growing CPA/Business Management practice locted in their Los Angeles, CA location. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize and continue to develop your analytical, operational, management and client services skills. With your expertise, you will manage our talented staff and assume the role as mentor to coach staff on various financial issues. You will be responsible for an existing client base and be involved in new client development in partnership with upper management and participate in client meetings, presentations and proposal development. The ideal candidate will be on a partner track.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Balance multiple priorities demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling client responsibilities and deliver a high-quality work product.
Demonstrate an understanding of professional and industry standards and practices.
Serve as the client's trusted advisor, identify client issues and conflicts and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and project management skills.
Prior experience in area of financial planning and/or accounting including insurance, tax, investments, retirement planning, estate planning and personal financial statements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
10 plus years' experience in business management, financial planning, accounting or related field.
Must be a CFP.
Organized and mindful of both deadlines and budgets.
Strong comprehension and communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong analytical skills.
