Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end and year-end closings
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management
- Assist with year-end audit requirements
- Assist with analyzing sales and inventory variances and trends
- Analyze gross profit reports for monthly reporting package
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and budget versus actual variance analysis
- Review and audit expense reports
- Prepare and distribute daily bank balances
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Review daily bank activity for accuracy
- Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns
- Assist with additional analysis, tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- High level of organization and follow up skills
- AS400 experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
