Description

PM Human capital solutions are currently working with an established international accounting practice based in London who are looking for a trainee accountant. The organisation has a significant presence in the US and this is a newly created role due to the increase of workload.

The organisation works with high net worth individuals, trusts and corporate clients, you will be working with a small and friendly team and assist in bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in preparation of financial statements, mainlining client bank accounts including making payments and raising invoices.

You will also maintain accounting records on various accounting software including Xero, VT and QuickBooks.

Some of your other duties will include preparation of self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.

We are looking for candidates with experience in double entry bookkeeping, experience of preparing VAT returns, statutory accounts, SA100’s and CT600’s.

You will have experience of using Xero and various other accounting software along with competency using MS office.

Good stakeholder and communication skills are essential.
