Our client is a software solutions provider positioned for International Growth.

The Controller will be responsible for providing financial reporting, internal controls, policies and procedures to support the company goals and vision. The position provides leadership and coordination in the operational accounting and related budgeting activities of the company.

Responsibilities –

• Manage full cycle accounting functions. day to day processing of transactions and updating accounting records, monitoring bank accounts, completing monthly reconciliations, managing financial reporting, accounts receivables, payroll and treasury functions
• Coordinate audit with CPA firm, as well as, regulatory audits
• Provide proactive analytics and reporting to improve forecasting, align results, draw insights and influence action
• Make suggestions regarding process improvements and assist with the implementation of new systems
• Perform a variety of accounting and finance duties including reconciliations, assisting with financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
• Manage the general ledger, monthly closing process and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Sales tax filings
• IFRS experience a must.
• Guide, coach, and develop accounting team members to support growth of business unit accounting

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of SAAS accounting experience required
• CPA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of management experience
• Ability to interact with outside vendors, accountants, and other external clients
• Effective communication skills
