PM Human Capital Solutions are currently working with a well-established and growing 3 partner circa 35 employee accounting firm that work with a blend of clients based both in the UK and overseas. The firm is looking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant to join their business services team.

The role is all encompassing, and your duties will include, accounts preparation i.e. small limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships, pension schemes, prepare planning sections of work programme and prepare and monitor budgets.

Bookkeeping duties will include, write up cash books, sales day books, purchase day books for limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships. Bank reconciliations and preparing accounts from incomplete records or client trial balances (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.) Some Audit internal and external Audit work will be involved along with Tax duties i.e. personal tax / VAT returns, corporations Tax and preparing P11d’s

You will have exposure to the experienced management team and partners of the business, study support and career progression is on offer for the right candidates.

To be considered for this role:

• Accounting and finance or other relevant degree preferred but not essential
• ACCA/ACA exam qualified preferred but not essential
• 18 months post membership experience
• Knowledge of recent developments in accounting standards
• Knowledge of the following advantageous – Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, Iris, CCH Pro audit, VT
