PM Human Capital Solutions are working with a leading media organisation based in central London and looking for a financial analyst to join their friendly finance team. The role is newly created and the organisation provide individuals with training, development and career growth along with a positive culture that promotes team work and a collaborative environment.

Reporting into the Head of FP&A some of your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the finance team in budgeting and forecasting for expenses, KPI’s and revenue.

Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the accuracy of expenses at month end, you will be responsible for reporting variances to forecast and budget.

Your role will also involve assisting teams in the wider business to support the growth plans via financial analysis.

You will be expected to provide written and verbal commentary to senior stakeholders in the business

Some of your time will also involve looking at ways to help streamline reporting processes.

To be considered for this role, you will have excellent numerate and analytical skills, you will have the ability to break down complex problems via analytical thinking. Experience of a similar role previously would be advantageous along with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong MS Excel skills essential

A degree in accounting, finance or mathematics highly desirable along with a formal accounting qualification. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.
