- Description
In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize and continue to develop your analytical, operational, management and client services skills. With your expertise, you will manage our talented staff and assume the role as mentor to coach staff on various accounting and tax technical issues. You will also be involved in new client development in partnership with upper management and participate in client meetings, presentations and proposal development.
- Review tax returns (Corporate/Partnership/Individuals) including returns for foreign subsidiaries
- Identify opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate
- Prepare for and lead tax audits
- Perform tax research
- Exposure to Tax Reform legislation (i.e., Sec. 965, GILTI, FDII and BEAT) with the ability to provide insights on its impact on existing business model.
- Manage international tax compliance engagements (i.e., 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 8992, 8993, 1042) and tax attribute studies (E&P, 987, Tax Basis)
- Manage tax accounting (i.e., ASC 740) processes and provide technical assistance. Experience preparing tax provision (current & deferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years' of experience of professional tax experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
