PM Human Capital Solutions are currently working with an established and well respected top 100 US accounting firm that has an office in Central London, the firm work with a wide range of clients but mainly specialise in working with music and entertainment industry clients. 

The firm works with some very well-known international artists along with clients in the sports sectors and high net worth individuals. 

Due to new client acquisition the firm is looking to hire an experienced qualified accountant with prior experience of working for an accounting firm. 

Some of your duties will include:

• Prepare Statutory Accounts for clients
• Prepare Corporation Tax Returns, including tagging of iXBRL accounts and onward submission to HMR
• Prepare Self-Assessment Tax Returns
• Assist in the planning and preparation of audits
• Prepare and submit VAT Returns (occasionally) and EC Sales Lists as and when required.
• Prepare and submit monthly payroll (occasionally) and pension submissions as and when required
• Prepare management accounts, tour reports and net worth statements as and when required.
• Liaise with clients and various third-party organisations to include HM Revenue and Customs financial organisations, tour managers and record labels etc.
• Manage trainee accountants and apprentices, including day-to-day communication and motivation as well as succession planning and performance management.

We are looking for candidates that have a formal accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA etc, you will have previous experience of working in an accounting firm along with ability to manage and prioritise your workloads. Excellent client facing skills are essential along with experience of managing or mentoring others.
